Native Ingredients

Boolamarr products use a base formula that has been tested and trialed in various environments. Dr Richard Walley and Robyn then work with formulators and suppliers to add an essential ingredient drawn from their traditional knowledge of native plants. The native ingredients are sourced from Australian native grown plants and are natural oils farmed and processed in Australia. Where available, Boolamarr use natural native oils that offer a return to the community or Aboriginal community.

Sandalwood Seed Oil

Sandalwood is valued in Aboriginal culture for its medicinal and spiritual benefits. Sandalwood Seeds have been used for many generations to protect and heal the skin and sooth aching joints.

Sandalwood Seeds are collected from native Western Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum). They are collected from the ground, so no trees are harmed during seed harvest. Native Santalum spicatum grows naturally throughout a large area of Western Australia, no irrigation or fertilizers are required.

Sandalwood Shell Grit

Sandalwood Shell Grit is the bi product of Sandalwood Seed Oil and is used in the BOOLAMARR Industrial Hand Cleaners to help lift dirt and grime. The hard shell of the seed is ground down to a small particle and used as a natural ‘grit’ in the Industrial Hand Wash formula. Sandalwood Shell Grit is bio degradable, therefore this natural product will not harm the water ways and organisms.

Lemon Myrtle

Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) contains proven antimicrobial properties. Studies have proved that the pure essential oil of lemon myrtle is more potent against bacteria than pure tea tree oil. Essential oils leave a longer lasting fresh natural fragrance on the skin.

Eucalyptus

The Eucalyptus Oil used in the BOOLAMARR Industrial Truck Wash is Blue Mallee Essential Oil (Eucalyptus polybractea). Known for its anti-septic properties, Eucalyptus is also an excellent surface clean assisting the breaking up grease.
